5B Ringsfield Hall 2015

Day 1

5B have arrived safely and the sun is shining! The children stopped for lunch in Bury St Edmunds ... 

After exploring the house and grounds it's time to relax and have a bedtime story from Mrs Bonner.

And of course time for some birthday cake!

Now time for sleep.....

Day 2 - Tuesday

After a good nights sleep........

The troops are ready for a day of fun. There were flurries of snow and hail yesterday so everyone is excited and has their fingers crossed.

First collecting eggs for breakfast 

Then breakfast

And feeding the animals 

Then on to our first session

Looks a little chilly!!!

They are really becoming earthkeepers!

Time for den building

Homemade soup for lunch - mmmm!

Time to get stuck in some mud!

and always time for some guinea pigs

Next on the agenda - dinner

Now all settled down writing letters home .... then time for bed!

Mustn't forget Sebastian the Peacock - he'll be there to wake us up in the morning.

Day 3 - Wednesday

Up early for a big day at Ringsfield School. Lucy and Mrs Wood have managed to send some pictures from yesterdays sessions using the Wi Fi at Ringsfield school - reception is very poor at the house - so scroll on and enjoy!

After their delicious dinner everyone has to pitch in with the washing up and cleaning.

Now off to Ringsfield School ......

Day 4 - Dunwich

First a trip to the museum to see how the largest town in England got reduced to a ruined abbey, a pub and the best chip shop in Suffolk!

There's always time for dressing up!

Next to the leper colony

Then the ruins

And finally chips on the beach

A great day out - but tiring!

Next the campfire and the 'last supper'

Day 5 - Friday 

10:15 and time to leave ....

They'll all be ready for bed tonight!
